Happy Birthday JWD... thank you Simon!!!
I think that JWD means more to most people here than you could possibly know!
i'm just sat working on a new version of the forum (to bring it more up-to-date and make it better for non-ie browsers) and notice the date on the first post of the backup database that i'm working against ... 23 march 2000.. i can't believe it's been 8 years !
.
thank you to everyone who has participated over the years and helped keep this place alive to help others coming out of the wts.

my great nephew, 8 months old, was killed yesterday.
so far appears to have been murdered by his sitter, a couple with whom my nephew and his girlfriend have been living.
they beat and drowned this little baby.
Words fail me...but my thoughts are with you.
Boo
now that memorial is past i hope that all is well for everyone mentally, physically, emotionally.
many were in a great turmoil as to feelings and what to do about.
going , so how are we all today?
Ahh Hortensia... you are a friend and if you didn't live a million miles away I would definitly invite you to dinner, but for now the best I can do is share the recipe...

We had friendsover for supper last night - Penne with Chorizo, Tomato and Cream, Crusty Portuguese Bread, Tiramisu and copious amounts of red wine.
Deliciously drunken, loads of laughing and a hangover of note.
Boy did I not feel like waking up at 6 to hide easter eggs for the kids!
I am still not feeling great emotionally though - things are very strained between my mom and I and I am avoiding seeing my parents because of the tension between us... still very unsettled!
boy, what withdrawl when the board does down.
glad to see everyone survived.
oh, and happy easter to you, for whatever it may mean for you.
Gee whizz - what a long day when there is no JWD!
Thank goodness you're back!!! And I hope that everyone has had their fill of Hot Cross Buns and Easter Eggs!
while i personally have not yet made this jump (final meetings will be first week of june).
i hear many wishing me "happy easter" i wonder how many of you have adjusted?.
i don't think i can unlearn that most holidays are "pagan", after all even the history channel confirms this fact.
Whats out there... the world.... take time and explore at your own pace.
How old are your kiddies?
